We don't want you to send through millions of messages that are the same. It is too easy for the Minister's office to dismiss messages that are (apart from the signature) identical. We want you to IN YOUR OWN WORDS say why this legislation is foolish. Points you might wish to include are: 1) Technically, the censorship legislation (Broadcasting Services Amendment (Online Services) Bill 1999) in current form is unworkable. 2) Non-technically, the censorship legislation (Broadcasting Services Amendment (Online Services) Bill 1999) is an invasion of privacy and freedoms that are the right of every Australian. 3) The Senator should represent the wishes of her constituency. You can reach the Senator at the following locations:
E-Mail:aseaton@parliament.nsw.gov.au Postal Mail: 24 Wingecarribee Street, Bowral, NSW 2576, Australia Telephone: (02) 4861 3623 Facsimile: (02) 4861 3546
