Highlands Internet also offers Semi-Permanent connections to the Internet. These connections are designed to be accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week (excluding downtime). Connections are charged for data transferred only, with a minimum monthly spend required on a per-channel basis. Prices for Semipermanent Internet Access through Highlands Internet are as follows:

  2. A Megabyte is defined as 1000000 bytes for the purposes of accounting and payment.
  3. All Semi-Permanent Telstra connection charges are to be paid by the customer.
    These include installation and ongoing charges for Modem/ISDN/DDS/Frame/HDSL
  4. All Highlands Internet users are expected to read and abide by the Acceptable Usage Policy. Continued use of the Highlands Internet system indicates acceptance of this usage policy.
