Geriatric Diseases

Aging cats suffer from an increased incidence of periodontal disease, kidney failure (about 50% of cats die of this), neoplasia, hyperthyroidism, and hypertension.  Behavioural changes may also occur showing up as inappropriate defaecation and urination, altered vocalisation and altered daily routines.
