RICHARD
BOYLE:
Richard Boyle's instrument is the electronic organ Every sound on this tape
has been created through this instrument in the living room of the house
which he shares with wife Shauna and six children at St. Helena near
Bangalow on the North Coast of NSW. Richard started playing the organ at St.
Kevin's Church, Bangalow at age eleven and is still the organist in that
Parish.

PROJECT HISTORY:
Early in 1990 Peter Kearney asked Richard to do a tape of instrumental
versions of his tunes to play during the intervals at a special season of
concerts. Richard produced with Side One of this tape The tape served its
purpose well providing a background of familiar tunes in a new guise. But
after every Concert people were asking if they could get a tape of the
'background music'. Eventually, in response to the many requests, PK asked
Richard to do a few more tunes (Side 2) so a full Album could be released.
In creating this music using the
resources of modern technology Richard was free to do whatever he wished
with the tunes. The result was this clever and imaginative collection 'A
House Full Of Music'.
