In 1988, Peter Kearney was commissioned to write a song for the National Catholic Education Conference held in Melbourne. The song expresses many of the issues facing contemporary Christian educators.

PROJECT HISTORY

The song has had two separate releases:
1. Cassette single 1989 . . . containing two songs 'Song For The Educators' and 'This Is Our School' (from the 'Celebration' album). This edition is no longer available.

2. Cassette single 1997 . . . In response to continuing demand, the song was re-released on a tape containing 'Song For The Educators' only, in sung and instrumental versions. The instrumental version comes from the album 'A House Full Of Music' - Richard Boyle plays the music of Peter Kearney.
