Hi! My name is Fran

I live in Mittagong and I am an Academic in the Department of Sociology at the University of Sydney. Previously I was lecturing and working on research at the University of Canberra and the Australian National University in Canberra.

My parents live in Adelaide. I have two children, Riley and Komala, and live happily with my partner Peter Sophios. My interests are my children, my garden, the University and Sydney of course, and Peter. I am a member of the Executive for the The Australian Sociological Association(TASA) and I enjoy walking, the Australian bush and the beach.
